Why do you wonder,
“Will I ever be made whole?”
When, despite My touch,
You still see men
Like trees walking around?
Why do you murmur,
When I am still working
To fulfill
Your burning desire?
Why do you doubt,
When, in your frantic search
Through the dark,
You can’t find
A single trace of Me?
Jesus …spit into the man’s eyes and placed his hands on him…(and) asked him, “Can you see anything?” The man looked up and said, “I see people. They look like trees walking around.” Then Jesus placed his hands on the man’s eyes a second time, and the man saw clearly. His sight was normal again. He could see everything clearly even at a distance.
Mark 8:23-25 (GW)
When My deepest desire
Is to hear you
Call My name—
And My longing
Is to reach out
And touch you
Again and again,
As often as you require.
My word
Should be
Enough assurance,
For I rejoice over you
With singing!
Give thanks instead.
Then ask for
Another touch… and another…
And I will make you whole
Beyond your wildest dreams.
So I prophesied as I was commanded… and the bones came together… and tendons and flesh appeared on them and skin covered them, but there was no breath in them. Then he said to me, “Prophesy to the breath; prophesy, son of man… So I prophesied as he commanded me, and breath entered them; they came to life and stood up on their feet—a vast army.(Ezekiel 37:7-10 NIV)

A Poem from our No Sanctuary for Cowards poetry collection by Funmi Adebayo, as featured on MakeADreamNG.com’s #SundayPost.
This one teaches that when it seems like the symptoms persist in spite of our prayers, it is a reminder that Jesus wants to touch us as often as He pleases… Please read it and be blessed 💕.
