Standup Comedians: Princewill, Baba de Baba, others Speak Against Jungle Justice; Pay Tribute To Chinedu Paul aka. MC Think2ice

Capture

So, Paul Chinedu aka. Mc Think2ice is gone for real and doubtless, he is in a better place as we speak. However, the gruesome way he was burnt and butchered to death remains a pain too much to bear. Furthermore, the smiles he brought to faces during his short but eventful lifetime will not be forgotten in a hurry.

During the week,  ace Stand-up Comedian, Baba de Baba took some time out of his very busy schedule to gather tributes from colleagues in honour of his dear friend Chinedu Paul aka MC Think2ice. The comedians also spoke against Jungle Justice. Here are some of their comments:

…When the education system is dead, it breeds failed policing, failed legal system and the likes. And when the people don’t trust the police and the court, they become uncivilized and the result is  jungle justice. – Omini

MC  Ice Water:

It’s so difficult to understand why people would want to indulge in jungle justice; just maybe because of the lack of trust in our justice system viz-a-viz our policing system or otherwise; but no one deserves to die this way. Even Rev. King that has been sentenced to death is still alive.
Adieu MC Think2wice. I can’t really place if our paths crossed while he lived, but of cosurse, from the comments from his immediate colleague, I felt like I have known him all along.

Just thinking aloud what the family could be going through. God have mercy, Adieu Chinedu Paul

Elder O:

RIP bro,my hands have been so weak to write about your demise. We met just once, and it was as if we’ve known ourselves for years. Your killers will never go unpunished.

… a guilty man has information in his head and when you carry out jungle justice, you have just helped the guilty who were not caught to stay free. as you have killed the evidence … – Princewill

Princewill:

Jungle justice is a problem caused by both the people and the government, as the former has lost faith in the latter and now take the law  into their hands. Everyone needs to know that jungle justice does more harm than good as even a guilty man has information in his head, and when you carry out jungle justice, you have just helped the guilty who were not caught to stay free, as you have killed the evidence against others guilty.

Omini:

When the education system is dead, it breeds failed policing, failed legal system and the likes. And when the people don’t trust the police and the court, they become uncivilized and the result is  jungle justice. Sadly, most victims of jungle justice are innocent. No one irrespective of the offense should be subjected to jungle justice. We need a system that works. We need to educate our people.

Jimboi:

Not anymore: Jungle justice is unethical, unlawful, nefarious and unacceptable. Sleep well Mc thinktwice.

Baba de Baba:

Jungle justice is inhuman and must be stopped. May your killers not find rest.. Rest in peace my friend Mc think2ice.
