As part of the program of events marking the 61st Independence Anniversary celebration of Nigeria in Athens, 17-year-old Peace Ebhohon gave a beautiful rendition of the Nigerian National Anthem, which was in turn beautifully accompanied by the Nigerian Ambassador to Greece, Her Excellency Opunimi Akinkugbe.
Quoting from the caption on the Instagram page of Her Excellency, ‘Peace was born and raised in Greece. She has enjoyed music since she was 6 years old and is currently learning to play the violin. Her favourite subjects in school are anatomy and biology’.
She also called on Nigerians to use the second stanza to pray fervently for the nation these trying times
‘The 2nd Stanza is such a powerful prayer. Take a moment to say it aloud this morning as we continue to pray fervently for our nation during these trying times.’
